Cancellation Policy

Significant time and effort go into preparing for your appointment, from administrative work to clinician planning. Late cancellations create additional workload and often mean waitlisted clients, who could have taken your spot, miss out. Additionally, when an appointment remains unfilled, it results in unutilised clinician time that could have been used to support someone in need. Therefore the below policies are strictly adhered to for protection of clinician time and fair scheduling for all clients.

  • Rescheduling/Cancellation Notice: Clients are required to provide a minimum of 3 business days notice for any rescheduling or cancellations. Failure to do so will result in the incurrence of a cancellation fee (50% of full fee).

  • Same day cancellation and Non-attendance to appointment: Cancelling on the day and nonattendance of a scheduled appointment will incur a non-attendance fee (100% of full fee)

Notes about cancellation fees

  • Cancellation fees must be settled within 3 business days to maintain future appointments. Future appointments may be cancelled if no effort is made to finalise payment.

  • Medicare, DVA, TAC and Work cover cannot claim a rebate for cancelled or missed appointments.

  • In some cases, payment plans can be organised for cancellation fees. If payment plans are not met, we reserve the right to cancel future appointments and prioritise waiting clients.
